Fees & Insurance

  • DBT Skills Group - $100/session

Interpersonal Process Group - $75/group session (additional fees related to intake process, etc., will be discussed during consult call)

  • An ADHD Assessment and Report is $1400. This covers your meetings with Dr. Kaufman, scoring the questionnaires, interviews with the people you connect Dr. Kaufman with, and writing the report.

  • We can sometimes offer a reduced fee to make therapy more affordable. Please discuss this with your clinician during your consultation call or contact us for more information.

  • We accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Simply enter the account information in the credit card form when you complete your intake paperwork.

  • We are out-of-network therapists, meaning we do not work directly with insurance companies. Our clients pay us out of pocket.

Wonder why we and so many other practices don’t work with insurance companies? Check out our article about it.

At the start of each month, clients can log into our secure client portal to obtain their “superbill,” which acts as a receipt and can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement if you have a PPO plan.

To learn more, call your insurance company and ask about out-of-network mental health benefits.

These questions can be helpful to ask:

What is my deductible? (In other words, how much will you be required to pay before they begin to reimburse you?)

What percentage of therapy fees will they cover?

What is the allowable amount for therapy fees? For example, if the allowable amount for therapy is $100 and the percentage covered is 50%, you will be reimbursed $50 per session.

Are there any limits on coverage, such as number of sessions per year or types of therapy (e.g., video therapy, group therapy, couples therapy)?

If you plan to attend sessions online, are there specific codes the insurance company requires be included in your superbill? If so, please share this info with your therapist.

  • We are not enrolled in Medicare or MediCal.
